Biography
Lio Mag was born in Lyon, France, in 1972, where a rich cultural heritage shaped his early artistic vision. Before moving to New York City at 27, he worked as a sommelier under the legendary Paul Bocuse, an experience that sharpened his sensory awareness. Inspired by Fauvism and Impressionism, Lio developed a style defined by vivid color, expressive movement, and emotional depth.

Born 1972, Lyon, France. Worked as sommelier under Paul Bocuse. Moved to NYC at 27. Owned galleries in New York City and Woodstock. Collaborated with photographer Peter Beard. Commissions by actress Tuesday Weld and Kay Leroy (owner of Tavern on the Green). Now based in Florida.
